Eduardo Bonilla-Silva

In this important book Professor Banks articulates a solution to address the decline in marriage among Blacks. His research, scholarship, reasoning, and writing are first-rate and although his solution to the marriage gap between blacks and whites is likely to be labeled “controversial” in some quarters, it deserves to be widely, openly, and sensibly discussed and debated. Bravo for job well-done!

Eduardo Bonilla-Silva is a Professor of Sociology at Duke University, author of Racism Without Racists: Color-blind Racism and the Persistence of Racial Inequality in the United States (2006)
